Bungaku Shoujo Memoir is the third anime project based on Mizuki Nomura’s “mysterious school comedy” light novels about the unusual members of a high school literary club. Each of this new OVA’s episodes focuses on a different character from the light novels, and each DVD also includes a booklet with a short story written by Nomura, among other goodies. Episode 1 – “Yume-Miru Shoujo no Prelude” – focuses on Touko Amano, the club president who calls herself “a literary girl” but is actually a supernatural creature (youkai) that devours stories. Episode 2 – “Sora-Mau Tenshi no Requiem” – focuses on Miu Asakura, the childhood friend of the main male character (Konoha Inoue). And episode 3 – Koi Suru Otome no Rhapsody – focuses on Nanase Kotobuki, Konoha’s classmate and the club’s librarian.
